"Above all, sing spiritually. Have an eye to God in every word you sing. Aim at pleasing God more than yourself, or any other creature."
-John Wesley
Music is integral to our faith. At any worship gathering at Mesa View you will find musicians, singers, and worshippers singing joyfully to God.
If you sing, play an instrument, or want to learn, we have a few places where you can get plugged-in.
Worship Choir: Music at the 8:30 traditional service is led by the choir. They also perform a phenomenal Christmas cantata and have other special performances throughout the year. They are always open to new voices. For more info, contact the church office.
Praise Band: Music at the 11:00 modern service is led by our praise band. Praise band is open to new vocalists or musicians if you want to share your talent. For more info, contact Rick Chapman or call the church office.
Handbell Choir: Mesa View has an energetic and enthusiastic hand-bell choir which performs at special services throughout the year. You do not need to be an advanced musician to participate. Beginners are welcome. While it isn't necessary to be able to read music, it does help. Contact the church office for more info.
Other opportunities for musicians: If you play an instrument or just like to sing, contact us! We are always looking for talented people who are willing to share their gifts in solos, small musical groups, or other gatherings. Also, if you are part of a musical group and you are looking for a performance space, we are happy to open our doors to outside groups. Contact the church office for more info. (505) 898-3506
