Relationship Service Witness
Relationship     Service     Witness

Whether you want to grow your soul, find friends for life's journey, or just have questions, Mesa View welcomes you.

WHAT TIME ARE YOUR WORSHIP SERVICES?

Our worship services are at 8:30 & 11:00 AM, Sunday mornings.

8:30 worship is traditional with classic hymns, beautiful liturgy, and a sense of connection with the 2,000 year old Christian faith. If you want worship to feel timeless, this is the service for you.

11:00 worship is modern with praise songs, higher energy, and a newer feel. This worship service is for those who want more connection between an ancient God and our ever-changing world.

Come to whichever service helps you to connect with God the best; or check out both and see which one feels right.

WHERE IS THE CHURCH AND HOW CAN I GET IN TOUCH?

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?

Some people come dressed in their Sunday best; most people dress casually. Wear what makes you comfortable and helps you focus on God during the worship time.

WHAT ABOUT MY KIDS?

We want your children to be at least as excited to come to church as you are. At the 11 AM service, we host a Children's Church in the room adjacent to the worship center. In Children's Church, your children will sing songs, do crafts, and learn about their faith alongside other children. Any child, age 3 through 5th grade, is welcome to attend Children's Church.

Mesa View is proud to be a Safe Sanctuaries church; all our staff and volunteers receive training and submit to a background check before they may work with children or vulnerable adults. We take the safety of your kiddos very seriously.

AM I EXPECTED TO GIVE MONEY DURING THE OFFERING?

During the service, volunteers will collect an offering. This offering helps support the church and our work in the community. If you are a guest or a first-timer, please do not feel obligated to give, though of course, you are welcome to participate.

HOW LONG ARE WORSHIP SERVICES?

Worship lasts about an hour.

WHAT IS A RECONCILING CONGREGATION, AND WILL I REALLY BE WELCOME?

Mesa View is a proud member of the Reconciling Ministries Network, a global community of United Methodists working to advance justice and inclusion for all LGBTQ+ persons. Our belief in inclusion is rooted in the radical hospitality and love of Jesus Christ, our understanding of Scripture, and our beliefs as a church.

If you are gay or straight,

male, female, or nonbinary,

married, divorced, single, or widowed,

of any race, nationality, ethnicity, cultural background, or language,

of any mental or physical ability,

of any social class, political affiliation, or life circumstance,

we believe God loves you as you are.

Mesa View is a congregation where all persons are welcome to participate fully in the life of the church, regardless of your sexuality, gender identity, marital status, nationality, or race. Whoever you are and whoever you love, we welcome you and affirm your sacred worth in God's eyes.

I WOULDN'T REALLY CALL MYSELF A PERSON OF FAITH. CAN I COME TO YOUR CHURCH?

Absolutely, yes. At Mesa View, we encourage everyone to bring their questions, their doubts, and their authentic-selves. If you come with an open mind, we will honor your perspective and who you are.

WHAT DOES "UNITED METHODIST" MEAN?

We are a congregation of the United Methodist Church, a connection which links us to 12 million other Christians around the world. We are ecumenical, which means we don't think we are "the one true church," but rather, a piece in the patchwork of God's family which spans many denominations and traditions.
